Making the Difference Dinner

[fusion_text]Each June for the past 18 years the Mayor’s Drug and Alcohol Executive Commission has hosted the “Making the Difference Dinner” at the Hilton Hotel on City Line Avenue to celebrate recovery in the city of Philadelphia. The mission of the Commission is to plan, approve, coordinate and evaluate the Philadelphia County Drug and Alcohol Prevention, Intervention and Treatment Services. This is accomplished through the Commission’s special project efforts and its interaction with the Office of Addiction Services. This year there were over 600 people in attendance really making the statement that the recovery is prospering in our fair city. Awards are given to individuals that have made a significant difference to those suffering from substance use problems. Mercy Hospice was in attendance to celebrate with a group of enthusiastic residents and staff![/fusion_text]
